Glen Ellis Falls

A Young Adventurer

💧

An array of exquisite colors and mountain peaks
It’s not much more a young adventurer seeks
To breathe the fresh air on an evening run
Only to be noticed by the fading sun
💧
Wind kisses the leaves as gentle a dove
A spectrum of light so warm it could love
Running fast to nowhere to find oneself
Never understood what lay on a shelf
💧
Silence has answers to those who will listen
Not mathematical, it’s more of a glisten
A feeling of comfort dwells deep down inside
For those who search all over, rather than stay on one side

Rating: 8.5/10

Cliff Jump: Yes, but it is sketchy.  The left side of the fall offers different jumps that range from 10-30 feet high. The water is not that deep and there is not much room for error.  We would not advise. Still sent it.

💧

Swimming: Yes, but it is illegal.

Location: Jackson, New Hampshire

💧

Hike: Easy; 0.4 miles round trip

Consensus: The hike to Glen Ellis Falls is pleasant as you stroll alongside a nice stream.  The fall is an awesome cataract, not too big, but very powerful.  The major downfall is that there is not much room to hang out here so it can get crowded pretty easily.
