Taughannock Falls

On My Own
💧
I don’t know what they want from me
I don’t really care
People always ask what I’m doing
I always stop and stare
💧
I don’t know what it’s doing to me
I’m lost inside my phone
Why’s it cost so much to be free
I’ll never lose my tone
💧
Listen to me I don’t care what you say
I’m goin' on my own
I refuse to let you take it from me
I’ll never be the same
I’m goin' on my own
💧
I’ll never be what they want me to be
I just can’t live that way
There’s a big world out there to see
I wanna live everyday
💧
I don’t get it why do we search for hate?
When love will always bind
I feel I’m caught up in a hazy state
I’m just gonna be kind
💧
Listen to me I don’t care what you say
I’m goin' on my own
I refuse to let you take it from me
💧
I see far beyond these days
When violent war is put to shame
And no one has to hide who they are
💧
I’m goin' on my own

Consensus: Taughannock Falls is the largest single drop fall east of the Rocky Mountains (215 feet high).  The hike to the falls is gorgeous; there are portions of the hike in which trees canopy over the trail as well as opportunities to walk straight through the dried up river bed of an epic gorge (during low flow).  The fall itself is beautiful and falls very gracefully.  You are not allowed to get too close to the fall due to falling rocks, so be careful if you proceed passed the warning signs.
